The Ecolet Range
Ideal for houseboats and barges.
The great thing about the Ecolet range is they have everything you need included in the kit. They come in different sizes so you have a choice depending on how large your boat is, how many people you’re going to have on it and how long you’re out at sea for.
The Ecolet 15, 25 and 65 models are zero discharge models meaning that all excess fluids are evaporated by the unit.
The EcoLet Manual 15
This is a great little unit if you have between 1-2 people full time or 3 people part time on your boat. It’s dimensions are: Height = 68cm Width = 55cm Depth = 74cm and you will need 55cm x 135cm of floor space (includes space for removable tray to slide out).
This boat composting toilet uses 240V 250W max heater 225W and a fan motor that pulls 25W so if you’re in the marina, you can plug it into the mains but if you’re going to be out in the ocean for extended periods of time, we have a solar component that can be added to the system.
The manual nature of this model means that you turn the handle after each use, which cuts down on power consumption on your vessel, however it’s worth noting that power is still needed to run the electric heater and fan that aids in the evaporation of liquids.
The Ecolet Automatic 25
This system is fully automatic in that the system will mix the compost for you. This is great if you have kids, friends or family that may forget to mix the system after each use. Simply lower the seat after use and the mixing mechanism will start to kick in.
This composting toilet will work well for 3 people full time or 4-5 people part time.
The power usage is 240V 320W max, heater is 250W, mixer motor is 45W and the fan motor is 25W.

The EcoLet Auto 65 XL
This is one of the largest self contained composting toilets we have in our range and has the capacity to handle up to 4 people full time. Again this is an automatic system, so the power consumption is something you will need to consider when installing this on a boat for your next nautical adventure.
Power usage is 240V 380W max, for the heater 310W, for the mixer motor 45W, for the fan motor 25W. Dimensions are: Height = 66cm Width = 65cm Depth = 79cm and you will need 65cm x 135cm of floorspace (includes space for removable tray to slide out).
This unit is fully automatic, has a 40% larger chamber, two heating elements, ventilation fan, advanced mixing mechanism, and excess liquid sensor making it the most advanced composting toilet on the market.

The Ecolet NE Range
These are by far some of our most popular composting boat toilets. We have two types available in this range – the NE Separera 30 On Floor and the NE Slimline 30. Both are ideal for boats as they’re non-electric so power consumption won’t be an issue when you take your next ocean journey.
The NE range has two interchangeable composting bins and a convenient drain tube to enable excess liquids to drain into an additional container. A low wattage fan can be fitted as an option to assist with evaporation of liquids.
EcoLet NE Slimline 30
This composting toilet for marine and water based vessels is great if you’re a little sparse on space. You will need 65cm x 74cm of floor space for installation and the overall dimensions are: Height = 64cm Width = 40cm Depth = 74cm.
EcoLet NE Separera 30 On Floor
Similar to the slimline range, this waterless toilet for boats comes in a slightly different configuration to the slimline model. You will need 65cm x 74cm of floor space for installation and the overall dimensions are: Height = 64cm Width = 40cm Depth = 74cm.
The Nature Loo Mini Mobile
This type of marine composting toilet is probably best suited for life in the open sea. This system dehydrates the solids using an in-built urine diverting top that separates urine, which is then collected in a container within the pedestal. It also uses a low wattage ventilation fan that helps to dehydrate solid matter.
With a large 22 litre bin this composting toilet for sailboats, yachts and houseboats enables you to have fully independent travelling and will usually only require emptying every 3-4 weeks.
